The Center for Wine Origins has a really good source of information and besides the offices are located in Washington, DC. I know the District is not an ideal location for a wine center, considering DC barely has enough real estate to plant a tree. However, it is here and we should be glad that they are sharing with Washingtonians what the French, German and Spanish already know. Wine is good for the soul.

International Wine and Food Festival is still new yet has been growing the past few years with more vendors and sponsors. The D.C. event generally starts in the spring of the year so it gets you geared up for the later wine events that kickoff in the summer.
