Marquette Rogers is the Founder of the Capitol Connoisseur group.  Marquette envisioned a wine group that related to every hardworking individual in the Metropolitan area.  The CC is a wine group with a social entity that will seek to enlighten the  individual(s) while fitting in performances, performing art and culinary indulgences around the Metro area.

 Mr. Rogers is a native Washingtonian who attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and also an active member of the alumni association. He majored in Vocal arts, which exposed him to the opera, classical piano, jazz, theater, and visual arts. Over the years he participated in vocal competitions throughout Washington DC. He worked for three years at the Washington National Opera where his appreciation of arts spurned his interest to participate in Salome, Sampson et Dalila and Mice and Men as a supernumerary.
